Star-Bag's unique pleated design
increases the available fabric filtering
area in the same space occupied by
traditional cylindrical and oval filter bags.
Quite simply, it puts more filtration in the
same area. With its star-like
configuration, Star-Bag can provide
between 1.7 and 2.4 times the filtration
surface over a traditional filter bag!
Pleats are gathered at the top snap
band for Star-Bag can fit in the same
cell plate hole as a standard bag of the
same diameter. And because horizontal
bands are sewn to the fabric, Star-Bag
is able to retain its pleat orientation,
even during extended life cycles.
